The HEAD WEAR
It is the highest possible cooling rating a fabric can achieve and not even a handful of textile manufacturers in the world manage to achieve this.
As far as we know the Coolmax® Extreme Buff® fabric is the highest cooling headwear fabric in the world.
The picture to the left explains how it works:
A special four-channel fibre forms a transport system that pulls moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric. It then dries that moisture faster than any other fabric and thermoregulates the body.
Ultraviolet Protection
As far as we know no other headwear is available that comes with HEAD WEAR rating AND UV protection.

Ultraviolet radiation, or UV, is present in sunlight. Sunburn is a sign that your skin has received too much UV. Overexposure to UV over many years can cause more serious health problems such as skin cancer or cataracts. Garments that are sensibly designed for sun protection like this one reduce your UV exposure.
Samples of fabrics are tested for UV protection by AITEX - Textile Technological Institute (Test report nº 2005AN5904) in accordance with the standard AS/NZS4399:1996 "Sun protective clothing - Evaluation and Classification".
Sizing

The HEAD WEAR fits every adult with a "normal" sized head. |
Versatile
There are six recommended ways to wear it. |
Instructions on how to care
The HEAD WEAR can be washed in the washing machine but we recommend to put it into a bag for sensitive fabrics. Our experience says that it is best to simply rinse it on a daily basis and from time to time to give it a bit more.

Sanitizing
The best way to sanitize the HEAR WEAR is to put it dry into a plastic bag and place this bag overnight in a deep freezer. |
